Cockatoo Island is connected through a wide range of ferry services.  Circular Quay, Darling Harbour, Woolwich, Greenwich, Balmain, Birchgrove, Milsons Point, Drummoyne, Parramatta, Rydalmere and a range of other places have direct ferry connections to the Island.

The ferry is a great option as a way to get to and from the Island and particularly as a way for a group of people to meet for a day of boating.  At the end of the day the group can take the ferry home even if they’ve enjoyed a few drinks at one of the bars on the Island.
